Empoli FC

FC Empoli is an Italian football club based in the Tuscan town of Empoli. The team's traditional color has always been azure and was adopted as a slogan when they merged with another local side, USmolese, to form a large entity that we now know simply by the acronym EFC. The new partnership was to last until August 1920 when both sides decided it would be best if there were only two entities, so why not combine everything into one? That's exactly what happened after the San Miniato tournament, which ruined all the plans of the two sides because they just wanted to compete again - which also worked out well because nowadays you can't really do it anymore. In the 1921 season, AC Milan, one of Italy's most famous football clubs, was founded. The team then only played in the top three divisions, but later won many championships and was a founding member of Serie A - the highest Italian football league!
